Yakimono in Oklahoma City

This food is amazing. Owner is extremely nice every time I'm there (which is a lot). Food is fresh and cooked on the spot. I love that I can order online too - so convenient!

Really good food and pricing isn't bad. However, those that work there aren't very friendly.

Food quality and taste equal to Musashi's and Shoguns and many others. But, price is much much less! Don't pass this unbelievable opportunity

I’m not sure why this has good reviews . The night we attended, My suishi roll was warm, The tables were dirty, The service was non existent, and the rest of my food wasn’t very good. It also was fairly expensive for what it was. Will not be going back.

We have been eating at this restaurant for a couple of years and we love the food and the chef, however the person taking the orders is very rude and not friendly, she could do better by helping customers out and not being so rude or people are not going to be back!

We are from Dallas and one thing about finding a new home for us is finding our new sushi place! This family owned place will steal your heart. All my little kids love it too!

As always, the chef/owner of Yakimono was cheerful, pleasant, and EXTREMELY good at what he does! He's the only person alive I trust to cook me fish, and my steak tonight was cooked to perfection.

I go here all of the time. Best sushi in Oklahoma City, I love the portions. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Anyone that says the Sushi is bad, or tastes like soap? They must not have ate at the same place at all, because I'm not the only one who loves this gem of a place.

Great food! Kind employees! They're so kind the chef remembers who you are when you come back again. Willing to apply for this job because they need more employees! And they immediately clean up the table you were sitting at right after you leave.

Received my order of sushi very fast! By far the best sushi I have eaten in the area! I would recommend this place to everyone. The price was great and they had a huge menu to choose from!

Great Hibachi grill location and they sell bobba tea which is something I enjoy getting when I go here.

Tried Yakimono for the first time Friday night and was so impressed. Planned on taking pictures of our food but we are it too fast! Will definitely be back!

Not the best, not the worst. Pretty good for a express food place. I got the NY steak hibachi, the vegetable were good but I wasn’t a fan of the steak. Fried rice was what you’d expect out of a fast food hibachi. It was around $11 for the lunch which is decent priced but Id rather go to a better place for just a dollar or two more. Lady wasn’t rude to me but not nice either. She was however very rude to the girls in front of me.

It's.... okay. Probably due to covid but it was a ghost town. Super quiet. The lady at the register didnt smile and wasn't very welcoming. I caught her staring at me while I was looking at the menu while my coworker was ordering. Just rude. I didnt give a 1 star because the food was FRESH as you would expect. The service was meh, but the food was awesome. Hopefully when the economy gets back to some type of normal, I'll come back and see smiling faces.

The staff was super friendly, but the food was merely okay. We had sushi, of which there was no great variation and was drowned in spicy mayo, and steak hibachi, which lacked any seasoning. The fact that people stand in line to order in the middle of the dining space gave me anxiety. I regret to say we will not be back.

My wife and I have eaten here for several years. We come once a week and love it. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good quality and well prepared. We feel healthy and happy after we have eaten here.

Sooo good. Perfect for if you want hibachi but either want it to go or somewhere to eat quick.

Filet of sole $9.99. This is one of my favorite dishes in all of the city. I got spicy texas roll too. Best roll I have had sushi wise. Owners are friendly, too.

Great food for the price. While it's true you can get better sushi at a more upscale place, this is a great place if you're just looking for some quick and tasty Japanese food. :D As far as price to value goes, you cannot go wrong with Yakimono!

Friendly service that makes you feel like family!

Ordered steak and chicken. Tasted like we expect hibachi to taste without all the show. Everyone in our group of 7 liked their meal.

I haven't been to Yakimono's in 10 years since I moved from Oklahoma. Today was the first time since then and the food and service is still great!!

Hibachi fare sans the overhead of a multi-chef restaurant. Is very good. Hot tea not available, though.
